We chose a monochromatic palette, welcoming warm wood tones, and accents of silver for Corning Credit Union's Hampstead branch. The design was developed around the idea of utilizing the small square footage to its fullest potential to create an innovative branch concept. User-friendly iPad kiosks replace tellers; a space we imagined as a union of color, minimalism, and contemporary forms.
The floors, walls, and furnishings are covered using different values of blue, representing CCU’s brand colors. Tonal spaces continue throughout the rest of the office: the front room features modern wood paneling on the wall, and LVT flooring defining traffic flow, to match. Clear contrasts such as frosted glass panels create a sense of connectivity while maintaining privacy between the branch managers' offices. The carpet is consistent with the corporate office that was being built at the same time.
