The client was looking for a flex space that would contain executive offices, lounge spaces, a plethora of meeting rooms, and the company break room. The overall design concept was created based on Vantaca’s brand identity. Most of the spaces on the first floor were designed to serve multiple functions and had to be comfortable but also up to date with the latest technology. We made sure to incorporate coastal touches since they are located on Wrightsville Beach. The first floor was completely reconfigured to allow for five private conference rooms, nine private offices, two phone booths, a large open flex space, and a break room. Previously the space had been used as one large open workspace; however, there was a need for more collaborative spaces.
Two favorite elements of the finished project were our 25’ branded moss wall. This was a labor of love and took over a year of dreaming, designing, and installation to bring it to life. The Coastal Succulent team took our initial concept and did an amazing job making it a reality. We also partnered with Intracoastal Cabinetry for all of the trim and woodwork. The second favorite element was the two giant hanging metal planters. These were so fun to design and so hard to install! We partnered with Coastal Succulent to create the faux hanging plant canopy of our dreams as a way to bring in some elements of the outside into the space. It didn’t hurt that it perfectly matched the brand color scheme. Something unique about this project was that the client really let us run wild with it in terms of grandiose design ideas. From unique finishes to the final accessories, it was a deep dive into letting our creativity run free, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.
